UI/UX Designer working as the sole designer in a founder-led Japanese product, collaborating directly with the CEO and CTO to improve product experience and drive iteration. 

I currently work at Tsunage-to, one of Japan’s largest hobby community platforms. I propose design solutions based on user and business needs, and work with leadership to refine requirements and guide product decisions. I translate high-level feature direction into user-centered designs and iterate based on feedback. I also track and share key product metrics such as VIP subscriptions and chat creation rates to support ongoing product improvement. 

Previously, I worked on both B2B and B2C products as a designer, mainly focused on 0-to-1 product development. 

Before transitioning into design, I spent five years as an IT recruiter, which strengthened my understanding of business needs and cross-functional collaboration. 

I studied UI/UX design at Langara College in Vancouver and am currently based in Vancouver, working remotely with Japanese product teams.
